At this time we have 5 choirs here at Ziegels which are led by our music director, Barbara Moyer. They consist of the Lutheran and U.C.C. Senior Choirs, the Lutheran and U.C.C. Junior Choirs, the Union Adult Hand Bell Choir, the Union Hand Chime Choir (youth). We also have a Union Cherub Choir.
The various Choirs at Ziegels are always looking for new members. You can join us for the entire year or for the various church seasons, like the Christmas season or Easter season or for special events like our Advent Night of Music. No musical experience is necessary. All you need is a desire to support the Music Ministry here at Ziegels. So come on out, join us and be ready to have some fun in the process! | Senior Choirs |
The Senior Choir members sing each Sunday at their respective services and also at any Special services through out the year. The Senior Choirs rehearse together on Thursday evenings from 8:00 - 9:15 PM. There is also time before the services to go over music for members who are not able to attend Thursday rehearsals. Senior Choir is for singers from ninth grade through Adult.
From September 9 through the beginning of December rehearsals will be held in the choir room on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 10:45 for people who want to sing with the choir for the Christmas cantata but can not make it to Thursday evening rehearsals. The cantata Canticle of Praise will be sung on Advent Night of Music on December 2.

| Junior Choirs |
The Junior Choir usually sings at services on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. The choir will be rehearsing from 6:30 to 7:00 on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. The age range for the Junior Choir is from third grade through eighth grade.

| Adult Hand Bell Choir |
The Hand Bell Choir plays about once a month at both services on a Sunday morning and at Special services. They rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Ringers in the Adult Hand Bell Choir need to be in ninth grade and older.

| Youth Hand Chime Choir |
The Youth Ringers is a new choir for children in grades 3 to 8. Children will learn techniques of ringing both handbells and hand chimes. They rehearse on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 6:30 to 7:00. This new music group will play throughout the church year and special services

| Union Cherub Choir |
The Union Cherub Choir sings once a month on the fourth Sunday of the month. They are lead by Valerie Missmer and Pat Elliott. They meet for rehearsal on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 7:30 PM. The age range for the Cherub Choir is from age 3 through second grade.
